Christmas Day is here at long last but for some shoppers, it's all about the Boxing Day sales.
Despite all the shopping and planning in the run up to today, many fashion lovers have their eyes on the prize that is December 26. Retailers usually celebrate the completion of Christmas Day by introducing a series of discounts and special offers.
Eager shoppers keen to snap up some bargains usually set their alarms bright and early, and one store in particular often sees enormous queues lining the street outside. High street giant Zara is incredibly popular among fashion fans, and its sales are always much anticipated.

Arguably one of the most popular shops in Liverpool city centre, many shoppers will be hoping it will be taking part in this year's Boxing Day sales. As with previous years, Zara remained tight lipped about its plans when approached by the ECHO.
Last year, it told us "as a general rule", the company does "not communicate the sales prior to them going live", but savings were still to be had. This year, Boxing Day falls on a Monday, with Zara in Liverpool ONE usually opening from 9.30am until 8pm on Mondays - though the bank holiday may affect this.
In previous years, Zara has kicked off its Boxing Day sale early, with queues so long they stretched around the corner, past Starbucks and running alongside the huge steps in Liverpool ONE. This year, we are expecting similar scenes, and it's believed the popular retailer will offer some decent discounts in its Boxing Day sale.
In the past, Zara's much-loved sale has gone live at around 10pm on Christmas Day. Zara's website usually offers a heads-up on when the discounts will drop as its site closes for a short while while it prepares.
It usually offers savings on a range of departments including womenswear, menswear and homeware. You can find your nearest Zara store here.
