England secured their place in the last eight of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, following a comfortable 3-0 victory over Senegal.

Goals from Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka sunk the reigning AFCON champions, with Gareth Southgate's side impressing throughout the 90 minutes at the Al Bayt Stadium. Everton shot-stopper Jordan Pickford recorded yet another clean sheet at the competition, having been called into action to deny Boulaye Dia in the first half.

Victory guaranteed England's progression in the Middle East, with their quarter-final opponents now confirmed in just under a week's time. Having been made to work in the first 45 minutes, Southgate's men now have another exciting contest to prepare for.
