Arsenal are yet to confirm a single signing this summer, but that could be about to change amid talk that an agreement is in place with Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.
Long before the 2021/22 season drew to a close, bringing in a forward - or two - was always going to be Gunners manager Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu's top priority heading into the summer transfer window, and there have been links to the likes of Darwin Nunez, Alexander Isak, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Victor Osimhen, Gianluca Scamacca and Tammy Abraham.
But with Eddie Nketiah reportedly close to signing a new five-year contract, it's looking increasingly likely that Arsenal will only sign one centre-forward to replace Alexandre Lacazetee whose departure when his deal expires on June 30 was confirmed by the club last week.
