Rail unions are continuing strike action this month. Yesterday (Oct 1, 2022) members of the RMT, Aslef and TSSA members walked out.
More industrial action is set for Wednesday (Oct 5, 2022) when The Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) members walk out. And on Saturday (Oct 8, 2022) Rail, Maritime and Transport workers union (RMT) members are walking out.
Aslef members are walking out in a row over wages only. For the RMT and the Transport Salaried Staffs' Association (TSSA) the dispute is over both wages and plans for sweeping reforms to working practices.
