When and where Man City players are on international duty

Man City's draw against Southampton on Saturday marked their last game for two weeks as an international break puts a pause on the top flight domestic game.

Unlike most international breaks, over the next few weeks European countries will not be in action meaning most City players will remain at the Etihad.

For the small cohort who are heading out on national team duty, there is plenty at stake for their respective national teams.

Take a look at when and where these City players will be playing below. All kick-off times are based on UK time.

Ederson and Gabriel Jesus - Brazil

Ederson and Gabriel Jesus have both joined up with the Brazilian national team for their World Cup Qualifiers.

Brazil currently sit top of their qualification group and will travel to Ecuador on Thursday, January 27 for a 9pm kick-off.

Ecuador lie third in the table but are 12 points behind the Verde-Amarela having played a game more.

The following Wednesday (February 2), Brazil will return to home soil for another World Cup Qualifier this time against Paraguay who sit second bottom of the CONMEBOL table.

That game kicks off at 00.30am.

Zack Steffen - USA

City's number two goalkeeper is in for a pivotal international break with the United States as they look to further their progression towards the World Cup.

First up is a top of the table clash away in Canada - the two sides are split by just a point and will face off on Sunday, January 30 at 8.05pm.

USA will then face Honduras who have struggled in qualifying and sit bottom of the group on Thursday, February 3 at 00.30am.

Issa Kabore - Burkina Faso

Following a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Gabon, Kabore's Burkina Faso now face a pivotal AFCON quarter-final with Tunisia.

It will be winner takes all in Cameroon when these two sides meet and the right back could well be coming face-to-face with Manchester United youngster Hannibal Mejbri who plays for Tunisia.

This huge tie takes place on Saturday, January 29 at 7pm.
