The Manchester Christmas Markets are officially open for another year, filling the city streets with bright lights and the aroma of delicious food and festive beverages.
The selection of food, drink and gift stalls are spread across 10 different zones in Manchester city centre for 2022. But they're still positioned within walking distance from each other, giving visitors ample opportunity to explore the 220 stalls taking part in the markets.
The main hub of activity will be Piccadilly Gardens, which has yet again been given a festive make-over to become Winter Gardens. St Ann's Square, Exchange Street, Market Street, King Street, New Cathedral Street and Exchange Square will also be home to the Christmas Markets.

Most of this year's markets will be open for six weeks. The main market zones, like Exchange Square, St Ann's Square, King Street and Market Street, will have their final day on Thursday, December 22 .
But the food stalls at Cathedral Gardens will stay open through to December 31. The ice rink at Cathedral Gardens is taking bookings through to January 3.
