An urgent warning has been issued for billions of WhatsApp users as scammers are using a sly new trick to target unsuspecting victims.
Fraudsters have been using fake accounts to pose as the messaging platform.
Those receiving messages from suspicious accounts have been advised to delete them straight away, the Liverpool Echo reports.
