WhatsApp is set for a major update which will impact anyone in a group chat.
The popular messaging platform is working on a new feature that will allow group admins to delete any message in the chat.
The date for this release is currently unknown, but WhatsApp insiders revealed on Twitter that the update will soon be available for Android and iOS users.

@WABetaInfo shared with its 161.6k followers: "If you are a group admin, you will be able to delete any message for everyone in your groups, in a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android.
"A good moderation, finally."
Users on WhatsApp can currently delete their own messages, but the new update would give admins the power to moderate the group chat.
The feature is something that is available on rival messaging service Telegram and was welcomed by WhatsApp users on Twitter.
