WhatsApp down as users report problems with messaging site across UK

A number of reports have been issued this morning (October 25), as social media messaging app WhatsApp goes down for UK users.

Over 60,000 reports of problems with the messenger application were logged on the website, DownDetector.co.uk, by 8:25am today, with the issues appearing to have around 8am, and have been reported not just in the UK, but globally as well.
