'Whatever the cost!' - Manchester United fans make demand after Jude Bellingham goal vs Man City

Manchester United fans have issued a transfer demand for their club to sign Jude Bellingham after scoring against Manchester City in the Champions League.

Bellingham has been increasingly linked with a move to United next summer, after reports emerged that the Borussia Dortmund star wants to leave the Bundesliga. United nearly signed the 19-year-old in 2020 when he made the move from Birmingham City to Germany.

Since then, he has made a meteoric rise during his time with the Black and Yellows, fast becoming one of the most sought after players in the game. At such a young age, many believe that Bellingham may well be the perfect midfielder for United, as they plan to eventually replace the 30-year-old Christian Eriksen.

The speculation over the former Birmingham player's future has grown intensely, and the youngster was recently asked about a potential move away from Dortmund, as the links to United refuse to go away.

Speaking to PA about his future, he said: "The club has done loads for me, made me feel very welcome and given me the opportunities to develop further. To look past that and into the future would be disrespectful."

Despite the teenager being tight-lipped, United fans are desperate to see Bellingham make the move to Old Trafford. Their desire would have only been furthered by Rio Ferdinand's recent comments that claimed he has 'outgrown' his Bundesliga club.

United supporters now have another reason to get excited, after Bellingham deftly headed home Dortmund's opening goal against rivals City — albeit in a losing cause as they lost 2-1.

But United fans took to social media to share their excitement over the English international moving to Old Trafford, as they pleaded with their club get the transfer done whatever the cost.
