Frank Lampard has assured Everton supporters that they will see a different side this weekend and work to right the wrongs of the last few weeks will continue to take place.
Lampard opted to make 11 changes to his starting line-up that was beaten 2-0 by Leicester City at Goodison Park last weekend. But the Blues boss would go on to be punished for rotating his squad.
Goals from Jamal Lowe and Junior Stanislas put Bournemouth 2-0 ahead before substitute Demarai Gray reduced the arrears with 23 minutes to go. However, the Blues’ hope was short lived when Emiliano Marcondes restored his side's two-goal lead before Jaidon Anthony secured Bournemouth's place in the last-16.

Lampard pulled no punches post-match, saying he had 'learned a lot' about the players he had selected to play at the Vitality Stadium. However, the Blues have an instant shot at revenge as Everton travel to the south coast once again this weekend.
The Toffees currently sit one point above the drops zone and Lampard says he and his side are well aware of the importance of the game, which is his side’s last before the World Cup break commences.
"I'll approach the game how I see fit," he told evertontv. "Whatever team I pick, they'll certainly know the importance of the game on Saturday and what three points means to the club at the minute going into the break. It's a huge thing.
"Will [the team] look different? Of course. I'm not going to lie and say it won't look different in terms of personnel. I learned a lot tonight, so it makes some of the decisions easier."
Despite the disappointing display on the south coast, the Blues wasted three glorious chances in the 10 minutes that followed them falling behind. Tom Davies’ miss was arguably the standout of the three.
And when asked how his side can improve, Lampard responded: "Train, repeat what we do all the time and then the rest is up to the players to deliver in those moments.
"You can miss [those chances], but we want to be creating the chances to get in there. You can't win games at this level if you don't take chances.
"It was good from Demarai - we hope he takes confidence from that because he had a good impact into the game, Alex [Iwobi] and Dwight [McNeil] did, too.
"I had to make those changes at that point. I gave people chances to players, but when I say this I want to be clear to Evertonians as well in that there is a lot of experience in terms of appearances in that starting line-up throughout the team.
"The players who came in really have to take that one on the chin in terms of how they performed on the day. Some things just were not good enough and that's the reality of it. Those players have to take it on the chin and move forward."
