Arsenal finished fifth in the Premier League this season, meaning they will return to the Europa League next campaign.
Whilst Mikel Arteta's side certainly improved, there were obvious issues with the Gunners' squad depth, particularly in central midfield. One player who's been touted with a summer move to the Emirates is Leicester City star, Youri Tielemans.
Recent reports from The Telegraph have suggested that Arteta is pushing Arsenal to make an opening bid of £25million for the Belgian. football.london previously reported that the north Londoners are interested in signing the former Monaco star and if the above report is to be believed, Edu and co will certainly be acting on that interest.

Nevertheless, they may find it that little bit more difficult to sign him after missing out on Champions League football to north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
That's because back in March, Tielemans admitted to Het Laatste Nieuws that he'd like to play in Europe's top competition: "I don't worry about it [speculation]. I want to get the most out of myself this season and finish as high as possible with the team. Of course, I want to play in the Champions League, just like any footballer. Am I ready for a European top club? I'm ready to get the best out of my career. We'll see what happens next summer, or the summer after that."
Although his words are a tad concerning, the Gunners are clearly heading in the right direction and the ambition behind the project may be enough to persuade him to move to the club. As his contract at the Foxes runs out at the end of the 2023/24 season, Leicester will likely want to sell him this window, otherwise they risk losing him on a free.
