What you can and can't do as Britain enters national mourning period for the Queen

The death of Queen Elizabeth, Britain's longest-reigning monarch, marks a pivotal moment in the history of the UK, and the world. Many details of the next few weeks have been meticulously planned, but others are being changed rapidly overnight, following the news that the Queen died peacefully at Balmoral yesterday.

The detailed plans that have now kicked into action following the Queen's death is code-named 'Operation London Bridge'. Now as millions head to London to see her body lie in state, we have entered an official period of mourning. Although many of the official details haven't been released, we've taken a look at what we can expect to happen between now and the Queen's funeral.

A number of events have already been postponed following the death of Her Majesty The Queen, with further decisions regarding the weekend’s sporting events set to be taken today, September 9.
