Manchester United fans have been raving about Erik ten Hag’s no-nonsense approach to training.
The Dutchman has been praised for orchestrating three friendly wins this summer, his side netting 11 goals and conceding just twice. The new boss was known as a disciplinarian at Ajax and has been branded a perfectionist.
His aggressive style of play has pleased United supporters, who have called for high demands to be brought back to the club after last season’s disjointed campaign. United have released a number of videos of Ten Hag taking training since his appointment as manager.

His strict ethos, which is carried into matches, has been praised by onlookers. Footage recently emerged of the manager chastising United players for poor play in the win over Crystal Palace, which fans welcomed afterwards.
And during their open training session in Perth on Thursday, Ten Hag’s demanding demeanour was unloaded again, this time at Zidane Iqbal. The youngster has had an impressive pre-season but his boss did not let him off when he made a mistake in training, shouting: “F****** rubbish.”
United supporters reacted gleefully to this, impressed by his desire to see youngsters be held to the same level as seniors. Many on Twitter highlighted that Ten Hag’s approach is exactly what they have been looking for after an abject season.

@ThePit1971: Keep the players accountable and on their toes. That is you get the best out of them and see actual progress. Great job from Ten Hag so far.
