Chelsea star Mason Mount is dominating the headlines in the transfer window in recent days, as a potential Stamford Bridge exit continues to edge closer.
The playmaker is entering the final 12 months of his current contract with the Blues and talks over a renewal have proved unsuccessful so far. Uncertainty over his future has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window.
Now, with the 2022/23 season over, Mount's future is likely to be resolved over the summer. Todd Boehly and Co. risk losing the England international on a free next year, should he not be sold.

Ahead of the World Cup, football.london understands there was optimism that a deal could be reached between the parties. However, the expected offer was no longer forthcoming following the tournament.
Instead, early in 2023 an offer that would see the midfielders contract extended by a single year and salary increase was proposed. Mount's stance was to refuse to sign a one-year extension however. Since then, football.london understands that the midfielder has not received another offer.
On Wednesday, it was reported that the 24-year-old had agreed personal terms with Manchester United. football.london understands as it stands, there is no agreement on personal terms
United manager Erik ten Hag is said to be keen on adding a young midfielder to his squad after a successful debut season in the Premier League. The Dutchman has previously claimed he would prefer to recruit English players and Mount seems the perfect fit.
Despite there being no agreement between the two clubs on a fee yet, the Red Devils are now the favourites to land the Cobham graduate.
