Chelsea transfer target Victor Osimhen and Blues loanee Romelu Lukaku endured very different evenings on Sunday when Napoli took on Inter in Serie A action. Osimhen's displays for Napoli this season have helped them storm to the Italian league title while Lukaku has been faced with a difficult campaign back on loan at the Nerazzurri.
The first-choice strike partnership of Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko have impressed and helped Inter to the Champions League final which has limited Lukaku's minutes. However, the goals have flowed in recent weeks for the Belgian striker with five strikes coming in last four Serie A appearances.
Osimhen meanwhile has 23 league goals and looked to add to that tally against Inter at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. However, just before the 70th minute mark Osimhen was withdrawn and his reaction indicated he was far from pleased.

Roberto Gagliardini was sent off for Inter before Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa had given Napoli the lead and Osimhen clearly felt as though there was goals for him in the game. As he made his way off the pitch, replaced by Giacomo Raspadori, Osimhen shouted in the direction of manager Luciano Spalletti before barging past a member of the club's coaching staff.
The 24-year-old's anger was short-lived though as he headed back onto the pitch to celebrate Napoli's 27th league win with the supporters.
Regarding Chelsea's stance on the forward, football.london understands that the Blues are interested in Osimhen, but Napoli are adamant he will not be leaving the club this summer, whatever the offer, although Chelsea are not being put off by the club's stubborn stance.
Osimhen was likely the striker being closely watched on Sunday but it was instead Lukaku who stole the limelight. Late into the game, he equalised for the visitors when he smartly converted Federico Dimarco's cross. However, two late goals by Napoli handed them the victory and thus saw a blow suffered to the hopes of Simone Inzaghi and his players of qualifying for the Champions League.
However, they will be awarded a spot in the competition if they beat Manchester City in the Champions League final on June 10th. Lukaku could therefore return to Stamford Bridge a European champion, which could help place him at the centre of Pochettino's plans.
With no intention of wanting to lose their star asset, Napoli have slapped a £150million price tag on Osimhen which could be enough to prevent clubs from pushing to sign him this summer. While Osimhen and Lukaku are very different players, in that 90-minute period, Lukaku was the forward to come out on top despite Inter's defeat.
