Ireland A take on an All Blacks XV at the RDS this evening as the curtain raiser to November Test series gets underway.
Craig Casey will captain the Irish side; thus indicating he will not be involved against the Springboks on Saturday.
There are further selection calls which offer further hints as to the look of the XV to face South Africa.
Jacob Stockdale, Jimmy O'Brien and Mike Lowry all take up places in the starting side which would suggest that Hugo Keenan could be in line to play against South Africa - despite not having featured for Leinster this season.
Casey's inclusion also indicates that the scrum-half tandem will be made up of Jamison Gibson-Park and Conor Murray against South Africa.
