Trent Alexander-Arnold couldn’t help but send a message to Man City supporters after opening the scoring in the Community Shield.
The Liverpool defender fired his side ahead after he finished past Ederson after some fine play by the Reds. Luis Diaz and Thiago Alcantara combined before Mohamed Salah teed up Alexander-Arnold, who finished from the edge of the box after just 21 minutes.
Liverpool deserved their lead after starting brightly, and after scoring, Alexander-Arnold simply put his fingers to his lips as he stood in front of the City supporters.
