West Ham United manager David Moyes has said that midfielder Tomas Soucek has promised to look after him when the Hammers head to the Czech capital of Prague next month.
On June 7, West Ham will be playing in a European final for the first time since 1976 when they take on Italian side Fiorentina in the final of the Europa Conference League as a 1-0 semi-final second leg win over AZ Alkmaar at the AFAS Stadion on Thursday night set up a European final for Moyes’ men.
For two of West Ham’s players, it will be a special night as midfielder Soucek and right-back Vladimir Coufal both return to Slavia Prague’s Fortuna Arena, with the Czech duo making a combined total of 246 appearances for the club prior to their respective moves to east London.

Moyes admits he was unsure if he had previously visited Prague, but did reveal that West Ham midfielder Soucek had promised to look after him when they do visit the Czech capital at the start of next month.
“I was thinking about it and I think I might have gone to a game, but maybe not,” said Moyes, when asked if he had ever been to Prague before.
“Tomas Soucek said he’s going to look after me, they’re going back home, I think it is back to their stadium, I think.
“We will look forward to it and it’s a great achievement for West Ham United Football Club to be in a European final.”
