What to watch: New on Awards, TV, Streaming and Film on February 2024

MIAMI - From the star-studded Grammy Awards, set to celebrate the best in music in the world, to the adrenaline-pumping Super Bowl extravaganza, there's no shortage of high-profile spectacles in February 2024.

This promises to be a blockbuster month in the world of entertainment, with a slew of highly anticipated events and premieres set to keep viewers glued to their screens.

Pedro Pascal, Gina Rodríguez, Ariana de Bose and Camila Morrone are among the Latinos with movies opening this month, while Afro-Latino director Reinaldo Marcus Green premieres on Valentine's day his critically acclaimed movie "Bob Marley, One Love."

Fans can add to the excitement by looking forward to streaming two documentaries featuring global icons like Lionel Messi and Jennifer Lopez. There is also the "Mr & Mrs Smith" series, with Eiza González, and the movies "Upgraded" and "Players," with Camila Méndes and Gina Rodríguez, respectively.

Three series from Spain are also coming our way: "¡Sálvese quien pueda!," "Desde mi ventana" (S3), and the thriller "Reina Roja."

On the small screen, aficionados of gripping drama can rejoice as the long-awaited ninth season of "El Señor de los Cielos," which is set to make its triumphant return. As winter reaches its peak, February is shaping up to be the hottest month in entertainment.
