Lance Lynn yelled in celebration after striking out Myles Straw for the final out of the fifth inning during Game 2 of Saturday’s doubleheader against the Cleveland Guardians at Guaranteed Rate Field.
It was classic Lynn, who struck out the side.
The outing was Lynn’s best in a season that was delayed after tearing a tendon in his right knee during a late spring training start. He allowed three hits, struck out six and walked one in six shutout innings.
