The Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report of Week 17 on Wednesday. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Friday with official playing status designations before Sunday night’s New Years Eve showdown with the Minnesota Vikings.
Here’s everything to know from Week 17’s first injury report:
— The Packers listed 16 players, including 14 who were estimated as limited or non-participants during Wednesday’s walk-through practice.
— Rookie receiver Jayden Reed and safety Darnell Savage both returned to practice. They were both limited.
— Rookie tight end Luke Musgrave participated at practice (in a limited capacity) for the first time since suffering a kidney injury in November.
— Receiver Christian Watson did not practice. Neither did rookie Dontayvion Wicks, who left Sunday’s win in Carolina with a chest injury.
— Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell is still not practicing because of a lingering neck injury.
— Offensive tackle Luke Tenuta and running back Emanuel Wilson were both full participants. They have both been designated to return from injured reserve and could be available — if activated to the 53-man roster — for the Packers on Sunday night.
— Elgton Jenkins did not participate, but that’s been the norm for the last month. He’s dealing with shoulder and knee issues.
— The Vikings held a walk-through on Wednesday. They listed six players as non-participants and 12 players total on the first injury report. Among the DNPs: receiver Jordan Addison (ankle), cornerback Mekhi Blackmon (ankle/illness), cornerback Byron Murphy (knee) and defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy (ankle). Right tackle Brian O’Neil was a full participant. The Vikings placed tight end T.J. Hockenson and defensive end D.J. Wonnum on injured reserve this week.
