Brazil’s former president Bolsonaro has been convicted for a coup attempt. What happens next?

Jair Bolsonaro, Brazil's former president, has been convicted of attempting a coup to remain in office after his 2022 re-election defeat.

He is the first former president in Latin America's largest economy found guilty of trying to overturn an election, a charge Mr Bolsonaro has always denied.
