What to expect from Universal's first UK theme park in Bedfordshire

Universal United Kingdom Bedford Bedfordshire Sir Keir Starmer Europe Lisa Nandy Culture

Developers behind the first Universal theme park and resort in the UK have received the green light to start building near Bedford.

Planning permission has been granted by the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, meaning construction will soon commence on the attraction that’s set to open in 2031.
