Ireland is facing the brunt of Storm Eunice after a wicked morning on the south and western coasts saw thousands lose power.
Gusts of over 100km/h were recorded at some points, though the red weather warning that had been in place for Cork, Kerry and Clare has now expired.
However, the status orange and yellow alerts for the majority of the island remain in place.
