Queen Elizabeth II’s lying-in-state closed its doors today at 6.30am, ending the five-mile-long queue that stretched across London.

Now the preparations for the state funeral have begun, led by King Charles III along with Prince William and Prince Harry.

The Royal Family will be gathering in Westminster Abbey alongside world leaders for the historic event.
