The Prime Minister will be facing a no confidence vote later on tonight.
It comes after Sir Graham Brady confirmed that he received the 52 letter threshold to trigger the vote. The anonymous vote in Parliament will see all MPs in the house place their ballots which could decide whether Boris Johnson gets to remain as leader of the country or not.
The vote was triggered following the publishing of the Sue Gray report which revealed the Prime Minister was directly involved in a number of Downing Street parties which infringed upon the strict covid regulations in place at the time. Despite the vote, Boris Johnson has announced he is confident in facing the vote and will fight against it.
