What time is Netflix drama Outer Banks 4 part one released in the UK and what is the plot?

Netflix drama Outer Banks is back for its fourth season, reuniting viewers with Sarah, John B and the Pogues gang.

The young adult series returns to North Carolina as the two groups of teenagers — the Kooks and the Pogues — search for lost treasure.

Outer Banks has become a hit

Streaming service Netflix will broadcast the latest season in two parts to meet demand and prolong the drama.

Here is what we know about series four.

What time does Outer Banks 4 come out in the UK?

The Outer Banks series four, part one, went live on Netflix at 8am UK time on Thursday, October 10.

Part two will be available from November 7.

Both parts contain five episodes.

What is Outer Banks Season 4 about?

The drama will focus on the crew trying to live a normal life after finding gold, Forbes reported

A Netflix synopsis states: “Following last season’s 18-month flash-forward showing Wes Genrette’s proposal for the Pogues to find Blackbeard’s treasure, season 4 takes us back in time to the lead-up of that moment.”

“John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope, and Cleo take Wes up on his offer, drawn back into the ‘G’ game for a whole new adventure.”

Co-creator Josh Pate said: “We knew we needed to give them a win, but it ended up being a complicated one. We wanted the audience to feel that they had accomplished something and that it wasn’t all for nothing.”

Who is in the Outer Banks Season 4 cast?

As mentioned above, the cast will feature many returning fan favourites.

Netflix’s in-house press machine Tudum says it will include:

  • J. Anthony Crane (Dead Ringers, Billions) plays Chandler Groff. Darkly grief-stricken over the loss of his wife, he is welcoming to the Pogues on their latest adventure.
  • Pollyanna McIntosh (The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, Double Blind) plays Dalia, a revolutionary-like leader and worldly baddie on a plunder who comes face-to-face with the Pogues.
  • Brianna Brown (Dynasty, Eastsiders) plays Hollis Robinson. The biggest realtor on the island who previously worked with Ward in a successful business deal, she now has her eye on Rafe for a new venture.
  • Rigo Sanchez (Animal Kingdom, Station 19) plays Lightner, an imposing stranger with a piratical nerve. This dangerous and calculating outdoorsman appears to test the Pogues.
  • Mia Challis (FBI: International, Clickbait) plays Ruthie, a wild child with a toxic streak who develops a close relationship with Topper.

Josh Pate and Shannon Burke wrote all the episodes.
