The Eurovision 2022 final takes place tonight, with 25 finalists battling to win the song contest.
This year’s final is taking place in Italy, following the country’s victory in 2021 which saw Maneskin take the top prize.
Ireland’s Brooke Scullion failed to qualify after her performance of That’s Rich in Thursday’s second semi-final, in what came as a surprise to many viewers.
It means that Ireland has now failed to qualify for the Eurovision final on seven of its last 10 attempts.
Ukraine are the favourites as the countdown begins, but they face stiff competition from the likes of the UK, Sweden, Italy and Spain who are all predicted to do well.

The Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final takes place on Saturday, 14 May at 8pm.
