This year's Eurovision is taking place at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool where it will air to millions of people around the world.

The winning country normally hosts the contest the following year, but following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, organisers deemed it too dangerous for the country to host the event.

Instead, the UK, which came second with Sam Ryder in 2022, is hosting this year's event on behalf of Ukraine.
