Callum Smith takes on Frenchman tonight with a world title fight with Artur Beterbiev as the prize.
The former super-middleweight world champion’s WBC eliminator against former Olympic bronze medallist Bauderlique features on the undercard of the world heavyweight title clash between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.
It is the second time the former Archbishop Beck student has appeared on the support card for Joshua-Usyk and only the second occasion he has fought at light-heavyweight. He debuted at the weight with a second-round knockout of Gilbert Castillo ahead of Joshua and Usyk’s first meeting in September.

Bauderlique represents a stern test for the 32-year-old Smith and comes into the eliminator off the back of nine straight wins, including an impressive victory over Igor Mikhalkin last time out.
However, Smith believes he only has to concentrate on own performance in order to get another shot at a world title.
“I’m expecting a very good version of [Bauderlique]. But a very good version of me beats anyone in the world in my opinion, so I’ve got to focus on myself. If the best version of me turns up, then I don’t need to worry about the best version of him.”
