What time are the VMAs tonight? And how to watch as Taylor Swift premieres Patient Zero video

  • Taylor Swift is set to become the most-awarded artist in MTV Video Music Awards history by receiving the inaugural Artist Director Honors at the 2026 ceremony on Sunday, bringing her total win count to 31.
  • Swift will debut the music video for her new single Patient Zero during the broadcast, a self-directed visual starring Colin Farrell and Dakota Johnson that marks her first release since marrying Travis Kelce.
  • Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the 2026 VMAs will broadcast live on CBS on Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. Eastern and 4:30 p.m. Pacific, from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
  • Madonna leads the overall nominations with 11 nods and is scheduled to open the show with her first VMAs performance in 23 years, while Swift follows closely with nine nominations.
  • Special tribute performances during the event will include Kacey Musgraves honoring the late Dolly Parton, alongside a joint tribute to George Michael performed by Raye, Sombr, and Teddy Swims.
