Some days make you question everything. You think one problem is finally over, and then another one appears. A job does not work out. A relationship changes. Something you worked really hard for suddenly falls apart. At that point, it is very easy to wonder why life seems to be getting worse instead of better. The Bhagavad Gita does not give a simple answer to this question. When Arjuna was confused and afraid on the battlefield, Krishna did not promise that his problems would disappear. Instead, he helped him understand how to deal with a situation that was painful and uncertain. That part of the Gita still feels relatable today.
