The ECHO has taken a look at what the average Liverpool house price can get you in a number of different areas across the city.
According to Rightmove, the overall average Liverpool property sold for £191,234 over the last year. The majority of homes were terraced at an average of £145,556, while semi-detached houses went for £216,590 and flats fetched £133,197.
While data revealed sold prices were down by 5% on the last year, the figure is a 16% increase on the 2019 peak.

The ECHO has taken a selection of areas across the city and had a look at what £191,234 or less could get you there.
Wavertree
Wavertree's position gives it excellent transport links, both to the city centre and to the M62 via Queen's Drive. Its beating heart is the vibrant Smithdown Road and the area is also home to Wavertree Sports Park.
This three-bed semi for sale is on Northdale Road, just off the High Street and in walking distance of Wavertree Technology Park Station which links to both Lime Street and Manchester.
The Victorian terrace has been transformed by its owners into a cosy family home with chic colour schemes throughout. It's on sale for just £190,000 with Strike.
Aintree
Aintree is home of the world's most famous horse race. It also has a range of shops on its massive retail park and the Liverpool/Leeds canal is handy for a picturesque bike ride or stroll.
Massively under budget at £175,000 is this end of terrace on Longmoor Lane, close to the amenities of Walton Vale. It's spacious and has heaps of potential, with a number of interesting period features. The four-bedroom house is being marketed by Entwistle Green.
Anfield
This house on Rockfield Road is up for grabs for £190,000 and is a steal for any football fan, with the world-famous Anfield Stadium quite literally on your doorstep.
The terraced house is deceptively spacious and has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with accommodation spread over three floors. It has been tastefully decorated and the kitchen especially is bright and airy. The house is described as "immaculate" by agents Marshall Property.
Kirkdale
Another area with great transport links is Kirkdale and this house for sale on Lowerbrook Way is within one mile of three different train stations - Bank Hall, Sandhills and Kirkdale. The area itself is just a short drive from the city centre, as well as the coast.
The relatively newly built end of terrace has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a large paved yard. Agent Jones & Chapman is seeking offers over £190,000.
Old Swan
Old Swan in the east of Liverpool has a lot to offer. Close to Liverpool Shopping Park and with the A57 running through it, it has plenty of amenities and is also just a 15 minute drive from the city centre.
On sale here is a brand new mews home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, steeped in history. Located on St Oswalds Street is "Pugins Hall" is described as a "boutique collection of properties full of character, situated in a converted Grade II-listed building, with a contemporary, modern twist".
There's a communal courtyard, open plan living space and three floors of accommodation. The property is being marketed by Entwistle Green for £187,500.
Speke
Speke started life as a village with a population of 400 until the 1930s and is now a bustling suburb full of shops and businesses in the shadow of Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
This spacious semi-detached family home is well presented, with a living room leading to a large dining area and a kitchen with a breakfast bar. It has a massive five bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a loft conversion adding to the living space. The property is on the market with North Wall for offers over £175,000.
