Oregon State product and wide receiver Tre’Shaun Harrison was one of many undrafted free agents the Tennessee Titans signed following the 2023 NFL draft.
Harrison enters about as positive a situation as a UDFA wide receiver can be in, as the Titans currently sport arguably the worst wide receivers group in the NFL, giving him at least a decent shot to make the cut.
With that in mind, we’re checking out what scouting reports we could find on the undrafted rookie to get a better idea of what to expect from Harrison going into the next phases of the team’s offseason program.

Overview
Harrison’s speed and athletic ability are NFL-caliber on tape. While he flashes ball skills at times, it’s hard not to notice his drops and below-average deep-ball tracking. His route running is unfocused, but he has the physical tools to tighten it up. Harrison’s easy movements around the field and top-end speed warrant a late-round pick as a developmental prospect.
Strengths
Sudden with wide lateral steps to bypass press.
Graceful and athletic maneuvering around the field.
Has top-end speed to beat coverage over the top.
Active hand-fighter with swipes to clear handsy defenders.
Able to activate above-average catch radius both high and wide.
Clear-eyed and elusive once the ball is in his hands.
Weaknesses
Possesses deep speed but lacks desired deep-ball tracking.
Performance during drive phase isn’t always convincing.
Sloppy technique getting in and out of breaks.
Hands need to become catch-ready for anticipatory throws.
Clumsy drops on very catchable throws during his career.
Run blocking doesn’t appear to be one of his strengths.

Strengths: Florida State transfer coming off a career year. Displays good route discipline, quickly gets into breaks, and stays low on exit. Lays out or extends to come away with the difficult grab and consistently makes the reception away from his frame. Displays eye/hand coordination and looks the pass in. Gives effort blocking downfield.
Weaknesses: More quick than fast. Easily brought down after the catch. Had just one season of big production.
Overall: Harrison finally met expectations last season and was the go-to guy teams struggled to stop. He’s a solid underneath receiver who runs good routes and possesses reliable hands. Harrison also shows potential as a punt returner and could make a roster as a fifth receiver.
