Bayern Munich executives have reacted to the signing of Sadio Mane and revealed what the forward told them during transfer talks.

Mane completed his €41m move from Liverpool to join the German champions on a three-year contract on Wednesday afternoon. Liverpool rejected two bids from Bayern before the two clubs settled on a move for the Senegal forward, who was under contract until next summer.

The 30-year-old joined Liverpool for £34m in Southampton in June 2016. He netted 120 goals in 269 games for the Anfield club and finished last season with 23 goals in all competitions.
