Monday
“The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards” (NBC, 8 p.m.): The HBO drama “Succession” leads the field with 25 nominations at this year's ceremony. “SNL’s” Kenan Thompson hosts.
“90 Day: The Single Life” (TLC, 8 p.m.): The reality TV franchise entry is back with new episodes.
“War of the Worlds” (Epix, 9 p.m.): The alien invasion will continue until morale improves in a third season of the sci-fi drama.
“Halloween Baking Championship” (Food Network, 9 p.m.): The competition returns and — checks calendar — it’s not even October yet.
“Independent Lens” (PBS, 10 p.m.): The new episode “Hazing” calls attention to fraternities' and sororities' dangerous and sometimes deadly pledging rituals.
Tuesday
“Jo Koy: Live from the Los Angeles Forum” (Netflix): The veteran Filipino American comic takes it to the stage at the historic venue.
“Academy of Country Music Honors” (Fox, 8 p.m.): Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen are feted in this year’s special.
“Facing Suicide” (PBS, 9 p.m.): Everyday people share stories of loved ones lost, but also of tragedies averted, while mental health experts weigh in on warning signs and coping strategies in this new special.
“The Come Up” (Freeform, 9 p.m.): If they can make it there, they’ll make it anywhere in this new reality series about young creative types in NYC.
“Deadliest Catch: The Viking Returns” (Discovery, 9 p.m.): Captain Sig Hansen sets sail for Norway in this new franchise entry.
Wednesday
“El Rey, Vicente Fernandez” (Netflix): “Jane the Virgin’s” Jaime Camil portrays the iconic Mexican ranchera singer in this new decades-spanning bio-drama.
“The Handmaid’s Tale” (Hulu): Fred’s dead but June’s (Elisabeth Moss) journey is far from over as this dystopian drama based on the Margaret Atwood novel returns for Season 5.
“Hell of a Cruise” (Peacock): Passengers and crew recall life in quarantine aboard a luxury ocean liner during the early days of the pandemic in this 2022 documentary.
“Sins of Our Mother” (Netflix): This new docuseries tells the bizarre story of an Idaho woman charged in the religiously motivated murders of her two children.
“America’s Got Talent” (NBC, 9 p.m.): The winning act is revealed in the season finale. Terry Crews hosts.
"Lion: The Rise and Fall of the Marsh Pride" (PBS, 9 p.m.): It's time for the mane attraction in this new nature special filmed in Kenya.

“Flux Gourmet” (Shudder): A trio of performance artists play with their food — just don't tell their moms — in this 2022 dark comedy. With Asa Butterfield and Gwendoline Christie.
“’Til Jail Do Us Part” (Peacock): Roselyn Sanchez and “La Reina del Sur’s” Kate del Castillo play Miami women whose husbands are in the hoosegow in this new comedy-drama.
“Vampire Academy” (Peacock): It’s like “Police Academy,” but, you know, with vampires in this new teen-themed supernatural drama.
“Atlanta” (FX, 10 and 10:30 p.m.): The hip-hop-themed comedy-drama created by and starring Donald Glover returns for a fourth and final season.
Friday
“Do Revenge” (Netflix): Hell hath no fury like two high school girls scorned in this 2022 black comedy. With Maya Hawke (“Stranger Things”) and “Riverdale’s” Camila Mendes.
“Fate: The Winx Saga” (Netflix): This supernatural drama set at a magical boarding school conjures up a sophomore season.
“Goodnight Mommy” (Prime Video): Naomi Watts plays a suburban mother of two whose maternal instincts leave a lot to be desired in this 2022 terror tale.
“Heathers: The Musical” (Roku): Greetings and salutations! Enjoy a tune-filled take on the edgy 1989 teen comedy that starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater.
“Love Is Blind: After the Altar” (Netflix): The dating-show spinoff hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey returns with new episodes.
“Mija” (Disney+): Two young Mexican American women try to balance family obligations with chasing their showbiz dreams in this new documentary.
“My Dream Quinceanera” (Paramount+): Three young Southern California woman, each on the edge of 15, prepare to mark that milestone in this new reality series.
“Official Competition” (AMC+): Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz share the screen in this sharp 2021 sendup of the film industry.
