Towns and villages across Neath Port Talbot are set to see improvements to roads, drainage systems, traffic management systems, cycle tracks, parking and a whole host of other things in the coming months, after Neath Port Talbot Council pledged £4.3 million of improvements to "spruce up and rejuvenate public areas in local communities".
The Council has confirmed every ward in the county will see some investment, organised as part of Neath Port Talbot's work programme for 2022 to 2023. The improvement projects include "widespread road and footpath resurfacing schemes, vital drainage projects, replacement of street furniture, new bus shelters, road safety and traffic calming measures plus work on bridges," the council has said.
