As we approach the halfway point of Amanda and Alan's Italian Job on BBC One, thoughts are beginning to turn to what exactly will happen to the pair's newly-renovated home if and when they actually finish it. In this week's episode, which airs on Friday, January 27 at 8:30pm, Alan Carr tries to pull together his 'rustic chic' look for the bedroom, visiting an interior designer at her 300-year-old palazzo.
Not quite on board with her bestie's artistic vision, Amanda Holden heads to Palermo's famous flea market, before surprising Alan with a birthday boat trip along Sicily's Zingaro coast. But, while viewers are enjoying watching both the stunning Sicilian scenery and the pair getting stuck into some DIY, many are still asking what has happened to the house they're renovating, since filming?
Twitter users, like @kathcoles14, ask: "Has the renovated house been sold for charity as was mentioned at the start of the series and what was the charity that benefited?"

Well Bristol Live got in touch with the BBC to ask what the future holds for the property in Sicily. A spokesperson for the broadcaster - and the programme in particular - told us: "The property will go on the market soon and proceeds from the sale will be donated to Children in Need and Comic Relief."
It is not yet known when exactly this will be. Bristol Live has asked if the BBC can release the specific date the property is due to head to market and we're awaiting a response.
