What really happened between Jim Bent and Jeffree Star? Controversy explored after viral claims resurface during Beast Games run

Jim Bent became a familiar face to viewers as Beast Games Season 2 moved closer to its final rounds. The show, created and hosted by MrBeast, offers a massive $5 million prize, and Bent has stayed in the game longer than most players. That alone brought him attention. But outside the show, a separate story started following him online.

As Jim Bent’s on-screen bond with fellow contestant Monika Ronk grew popular, old rumors about his personal life resurfaced on TikTok and X. These posts linked Bent to beauty influencer Jeffree Star, leading to a public back-and-forth that quickly spread across social media. What began as fan talk soon turned into direct responses from both sides, pulling Beast Games into an unexpected controversy while the season was still airing.

Jim Bent addresses Jeffree Star rumors as online clash escalates

Before Beast Games, Jim Bent was known online as a fitness creator. In 2024, he appeared in social media videos with Jeffree Star, which later led to dating rumors. Those rumors faded at the time, but they returned once Bent became more visible on the show.

After fans on TikTok brought up the past again, Bent replied directly. He denied ever being in a relationship with Star and said their connection never went beyond friendship. In a public comment, Jim Bent explained his side clearly:

“Me and Jeffree used to be friends and make TikToks together, but after a while I started to feel like he wanted to be more than just friends with me. So I told him I felt like we were not on the same page, and we have not spoken since.”

That response led Jeffree Star to answer back. Star rejected Bent’s version of events and said their history was more than friendly. In a post, Star wrote:

“So sleeping together over 25 times is what friends do? I am bored, have fun with your fake relationship, and I wish you all the best. Hopefully one day you will be able to be yourself.”

The exchange did not stop there. On X, Star shared an old photo with Bent and tagged MrBeast, writing:

“Hey, @MrBeast, come get Jim and tell him to keep my name out of his mouth, please. Thanks. Management.”

The posts spread fast, with fans debating both sides while Beast Games continued to air. Neither MrBeast nor the show’s production team has publicly commented on the situation. Meanwhile, Jim Bent remains in the competition, focused on the game, while the online discussion continues alongside the season.
