To hear RFK Racing president Chip Bowers articulate it, Brad Keselowski simply wanted to keep racing more than he wanted to focus on his ownership duties with a focus on competition matters, leading to the surprise split announced this week.

Both Bowers and Keselowski met with the media on Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway but the 2012 Cup Series champion largely offered several no comments while the former Florida Marlins president was more expressive.
