Liverpool endured an afternoon to forget against Nottingham Forest after failing to collect any points on their travels.
A solitary second-half strike from ex -Reds forward Taiwo Awoniyi secured a vital win for Forest, lifting them off the foot of the Premier League table after a shaky start upon their return to the top flight.
Jurgen Klopp's side came close to finding an equaliser on more than one occasion and began piling bodies forward late on in the match in an attempt to earn a share of the spoils.

Dean Henderson denied Virgil van Dijk late on with a reflex save in response to the Dutchman's header, which saw Alisson Becker also up for the corner as Liverpool looked to strike late from set-pieces.
Despite creating a number of opportunities, the hosts could well have scored a second goal had it not been for the heroics of Alisson Becker between the sticks. Played through on goal by Morgan Gibbs-White in the 86th minute of the match, midfielder Ryan Yates found himself one-on-one with the Liverpool goalkeeper but saw his shot kept out in impressive style by the Brazilian.
After watching his effort deflect behind for a corner, Yates could not believe his eyes and was spotted mouthing the word 'unbelievable' in front of Alisson with a large grin on his face.
Despite being on the losing side this afternoon, it was another fine display by the Reds' No.1, who was on top form in recent wins over Manchester City and West Ham United.
