Well, that was closer than anyone thought.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers came into Ohio Stadium and gave the Buckeyes all they could handle, taking the game into the fourth quarter and making Ohio State win the game on a defensive interception to steal a close, 21-17 victory on Saturday afternoon.
Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule had to be pleased with his team’s performance against one of the best rosters in college football, yet disappointed for not being able to finish the deal when he stepped to the podium after the game, and that was definitely the case based on his comments.
We like to keep tabs on what the opposing coach says after each OSU game, and we had one of our writers there again to capture the video and audio from what Rhule said about Ohio State after the game. If you missed any of those comments you can catch them all thanks to our YouTube Channel.
Rhule credited the Buckeyes, especially what he saw from them on defense, but also praised his team for bouncing back among other things. Hit play below to catch everything he said after the game.
The win improves Ohio State’s record to 6-1, and now it’s time to prepare for one of the biggest hurdles of the season — a trip to Happy Valley to take on Penn State next week.
