It's a big night for Rangers on Tuesday, What do they need to do at home if they are to stand a chance of edging past PSV for a Champions League group stage slot?
ANDY NEWPORT: A clean sheet for a start but that’s easier said than done against a PSV side who’ve already blasted 19 goals in their first five games of the season. If they can fashion a lead they stand a great chance of finishing the job in Holland.
CRAIG SWAN: Rangers could really do with a lead to take to Eindhoven.
FRASER WILSON: Getting their noses in front would help but Rangers have proved they can find all sorts of ways to get through these qualifiers. Avoid defeat - and any major injuries - and Rangers can head to Philips Stadium with confidence that they have the personnel and game plan to get results away in Europe.
Hearts enter the European fray this week too - can they see off FC Zurich to take their place in the Europa League?
ANDY: Robbie Neilson’s men should fancy their chances. Zurich have had a dreadful start to the season with their only wins coming against Linfield. It’s all set up for the Jambos with the second-leg at Tynecastle.
CRAIG: Hearts have a great chance. It’s a 50-50 and you can’t ask for much more in a play off.
FRASER: For the sake of Scottish football you’d hope so after the embarrassment of Motherwell and Dundee United’s exits. Hearts have experience and a range of attacking threats while Zurich are off to a slow start and playing on neutral ground. It’s there for the Jambos if they perform.
It's been a weekend to forget for both Aberdeen boss Jim Goodwin and his Hibs counterpart Lee Johnson. Are they under pressure?
ANDY: No chance. Goodwin has been trusted to reshape his squad and while Motherwell was a bump on the road, his signings on paper at least look savvy. Hibs are also rebuilding again for the umpteenth time in recent memory and stability is now the key at Easter Road.
CRAIG: No. And nor should they be. Both are at the beginning of new projects. Boards need to be patient.
FRASER: Only to get results. It would be crazy to say their jobs are under threat. Goodwin has signed well and has the Dons playing attractive football but suffered a defensive calamity on Saturday. Johnson is in the early stages of a major rebuild and has a track record to suggest he will produce results.
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou says he still needs a couple more signings. Where do the champions need to strengthen?
ANDY: Another body in the middle of the park to lighten the load on Callum McGregor but apart from that they look well stocked in all other departments.
CRAIG: Central midfield could maybe do with one. Nothing else desperate unless someone important leaves.
FRASER: Another holding midfielder who can free up Callum McGregor is the only obvious one. But I suppose you can never have too many good strikers.
