After weeks and weeks of uncertainty, U.S. Soccer finally locked in Mauricio Pochettino for another four years on Monday, meaning he will be in charge through the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
Pochettino was hired back in 2024, tasked specifically with preparing the USMNT for the 2026 World Cup on home soil. He did not take that responsibility lightly, leaving no stone unturned in his pursuit of the best roster. He called up over 80 different players from at least 16 different leagues in 12 different countries during that time, 62 of which earned at least one cap.
