Leeds United could have their January transfer priorities altered by the recent development that Mateusz Klich looks set to join MLS side DC United.
According to MLS reporter Tom Bogert, the 32-year-old is in advanced talks to join Wayne Rooney's side out in the USA, which would end his five year spell at Elland Road.
Following the summer arrivals of Tyler Adams and Marc Roca, Klich has seen his game time drop. While the Polish midfielder has made 11 Premier League appearances this term for the Whites, he has only played 188 minutes, which work out at around an average of 17 minutes per game.

And Klich's potential departure raise questions about how the Whites will attack the January transfer window.
With Klich gone, Leeds look a little light in terms of central midfield options. A return to action for Adam Forshaw would add extra depth behind Adams and Roca, but the reality the Whites could do with an extra body.
Youngster Darko Gyabi could be handed more game time if Jesse Marsch believes the teenager, who arrived at Elland Road this summer from Manchester City, is ready for more first team minutes.
The Leeds boss has not shied away from giving game time to younger players this term, which could work in Gyabi's favour.
Away from their midfield dilemma, there are two obvious areas the Whites must address in January. Continued injury issues for Patrick Bamford mean Leeds must sign a striker in January. Rodrigo has performed admirably this term, but an injury to the Spaniard would leave Leeds toothless up front.
Marsch and co can no longer rely upon Bamford to play week in, week out, meaning they must look to land a striker in the January transfer window.
Finally, Leeds must also address their long-term issues at left-back. Junior Firpo is not the answer to the Whites full-back woes. The 26-year-old has, like Bamford, experienced a number of frustrating injuries during his time at Elland Road, and even when he has played, he has been underwhelming.
Buying a first choice left-back would in turn allow for Pascal Struijk to move back to centre-back from his makeshift full-back role, meaning the purchase of the former could go a long way to improving the Whites defensive fortunes as a whole.
