Old Trafford is known as the Theatre of Dreams and it clearly hasn't lost any of its magic if Mason Mount and his dad's reactions to the stadium are anything to go by.
Mount has completed an initial £55m switch to United from Chelsea. The 24-year-old England midfielder was entering the final 12 months of his contract at Stamford Bridge and the Reds swooped in to make him their first summer signing.
Several bids for Mount were turned down by Chelsea as the London side looked to make as much as they could from the sale of their academy product. However, a deal worth an initial £55m, plus an extra £5m in performance-related add-ons, has been agreed.

Mount has penned an initial five-year contract at Old Trafford, with the option of a further 12 months. He has already started training with Erik ten Hag's squad after becoming acquainted with both Carrington and Old Trafford following his arrival. While his trips to Old Trafford this week were his first as a United player, he has of course visited the ground plenty of times previously.
One of his first trips to Old Trafford came as a fan in 2008 supporting his hometown club, Portsmouth. He was in the away end as he watched Portsmouth lose 2-0 in a Premier League encounter thanks to a stunning double from Cristiano Ronaldo, including a free-kick that has become iconic and is one of the Portuguese winger's most famous United goals.
Plenty of trips as a visiting player followed, but Mount will now be heading to the home dressing room instead of the away one on matchdays at Old Trafford. And that fact has not been lost on Mount and his father Tony, with heartwarming leaked footage showing the midfielder getting used to his new surroundings alongside his dad.
As the duo posed for pictures in United's dressing room, his dad said: “Mason, this dressing room, man... home, mate, home. Who would have thought, aye, when I brought you up here as a little boy.”
United midfielder Mount replied: “I know, special, innit?”
