There was briefly a hilarious and somewhat confusing moment involving Arsenal supporters on social media prior to footage from training being released ahead of the huge Premier League fixture against Manchester City.
With fans eagerly awaiting news of who took part in the session at London Colney, there was a post from the club's official Twitter account promoting this season's training selection with a message that reads: "Train the way you play, shop our 22/23 training range at Arsenal Direct."
Now the reason for the aforementioned confusion is that Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Takehiro Tomiyasu were the Arsenal players featured in the post and it turns out some supporters mistakenly thought the images were fresh. Ultimately, this led to some brilliant responses.

@Ahm3dsalat wrote: "Is that Tomi?? Don’t give me hope", @Symgg97 posted: "Tomyiasu???" @GilbertAgonza had a line-up suggestion for Mikel Arteta: "Put Tomi at right back and play [Ben] White central..." @itsuchey asked: "Is that Tomiyasu I see? Are you playing? and @Jackzoy1 said: "Tomiyasu is back".
However, not all fans got ahead of themselves. For example, @Gunneruni queried: "Is that Tomiyasu or is this an old pic???", @AFC_hamza7 said: "For a minute I thought Tomiyasu was back" and @PeakSanti said: "Damn I thought Tomi is miraculously fit for a minute."
Of course, this was an old image used by Arsenal as it was confirmed last month that Tomiyasu has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing knee surgery following limping off less than 10 minutes into the Europa League round of 16, second leg tie against Sporting CP.
On a more serious note, Arteta and his coaching staff did put Tomiyasu's teammates through their paces during a final training session at London Colney ahead of facing Man City on Wednesday night and the likes of Benjamin White, Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira were all spotted.
And whilst there was no sign of Granit Xhaka or Odegaard, it has since been revealed that both players have travelled to Manchester for the game and could very well be reunited in midfield after the former missed the 3-3 draw against Southampton last Friday night because of illness.
