Josh Thomas came off the bench to ensure Swansea City's under-21s earned a share of the derby day spoils in their Professional Development League encounter with Cardiff City at Landore on Monday night.
Liam Walsh, still fresh off the back of a six-month spell on the sidelines due to an Achilles injury, rose highest to head the hosts into the lead, before Morgan Wrigley came off the bench to restore parity midway inside the second half.
Gavin Whyte then looked to have handed the Bluebirds all three points with a sweetly-hit freekick, but Thomas was on hand late on to rescue a point for the hosts.

Cardiff named a strong line-up for this encounter, with the likes of Rubin Colwill, Joel Bagan, Whyte and Vontae Campbell all receiving run-outs, but found themselves on the back foot for much of the evening.
Indeed, from a Swans point of view, the sight of midfielder Walsh getting 45 minutes and a goal under his belt will likely to be a big positive for Russell Martin.
The Swans enjoyed a superb first half that would have perhaps yielded more goals were it not for a fine performance from visiting goalkeeper Jake Dennis, who was on hand to deny Joel Cotterill early on.
But he was left picking the ball out of his net just a few moments later when Walsh, still working his way back to full fitness, headed home.
Ruben Davies would have made it two were it not for a strong close-range save from Dennis, while Lincoln McFadyen had an effort tipped over the bar 10 minutes before the break.
Both sides made changes after half-time, but the brilliance of Dennis remained a constant as Swansea pushed for a second goal - another superb diving stop denying Ben Lloyd's volley just after the hour.
And Swansea's inability to double their lead was punished 18 minutes from time as substitute Wigley was on hand to round the keeper and score.
It proved a pivotal moment for the visitors, who having been under the cosh for so long now had the bit between their teeth.
They looked to have sealed the win just five minutes later, as Whyte drilled a low freekick into the net.
But the Swans would have the final say, and salvaged a point when substitute Josh Thomas netted seven minutes from time.
