A video of Jose Mourinho swearing at Anthony Taylor in the car park after Roma lost the Europa League final has gone viral on social media. In the build-up to the clash against Sevilla, the 60-year-old slammed Tottenham on a number of occasions as he boasted his incredible record on the big stage.
Prior to the defeat in Istanbul on Wednesday night, Mourinho had won each of his previous five European finals with his most recent being the Conference League just last year. At the start of the week, the former Chelsea boss began by opening up on his disappointing spell at Spurs.
Mourinho claimed that out of all the sides which he has previously managed, Tottenham are the only club that he still doesn't have a 'deep feeling for'. The Portuguese head coach was sacked just days before a Carabao Cup final clash against Manchester City during his time in north London – and it's left a sour taste.

Then, the day before the Europa League final, Mourinho took another swipe at Tottenham, claiming he had no chance to do his work in north London any justice. He said: "Playing a Europa League final has become almost normal for Sevilla; for Roma it’s extraordinary, unforgettable.
"Last season I had to explain to the players what a UEFA media day was. Now it’s the second time for them so it looks a bit more normal, but it’s not normal at all.
"I’m really happy: I came to Rome to help them grow and reach these special moments that define the history of a club. There are clubs that a final is just one more final; for Roma it is very special."
When asked to explains the difference between Tottenham and Roma, Mourinho replied: "Roma didn’t sack me before the [2022 Conference League] final in Tirana. At Tottenham they sacked me before the [2021 Carabao Cup] final at Wembley. Roma gave me the chance; at Tottenham I had no chance."
Unfortunately for Mourinho, he was left red-faced after Roma lost the final on penalties. During the shootout, Taylor – the on-field referee – controversially called for Sevilla to retake their fourth, and eventually final, strike – which Gonzalo Montiel had initially missed – due to encroachment from goalkeeper Rui Patricio.
The decision from Taylor and VAR was just one of a few controversial decisions. Earlier in the game, Mourinho was seen in a state of fury after his side weren't awarded a penalty for a handball on Fernando.
Nemanja Matic delivered a cross into the box but it struck the Brazilian's arm. However, VAR adjudged that Fernando's arm was in a natural position. Mourinho then went a huge rant in his post-match press conference before he was later seen in the car park swearing at Taylor.
In the video, among various expletives, the former Chelsea and Spurs boss was heard shouting: "I told my players you can lose a match but never your dignity. We lost today but we did not lose our dignity."
